About The Position

Provide complex technical support to data processing systems through enhancement of related software and processes. Develop software and procedures that improve processing capabilities. Analyze, code, test, and implement in coordination with management, associates, and end users. Serve as production system support by resolving issues and ensuring ongoing functionality. Perform a variety of actions that evaluate and improve department systems, processes, and applications. Utilize programming specifications to construct modules, develop testing methods, and design materials. Provide new feature time estimates for system changes and assist in implementing modifications. Execute test plans to validate application functions as designed. Collect data related to user requests and determine scope, time estimates, and system impacts. Inspect business specifications, programming specifications, coding, test plans, documentation, and implementation plans for accuracy. Provide technical support to production systems by addressing reported issues, anticipating maintenance requirements, and ensuring functionality for end user needs. Draft documentation to be used for system, end user, and operational purposes, including technical specifications and application designs. Responsible for complex involvement in the software development life cycle including the creation, enhancement, implementation, and evaluation of software. Serve as a technical resource for management, associates, and business units. Consults and provides subject matter expertise on software evaluations, feasibility studies, and new technologies. Specializes in software development and integration with third party solutions, as a single point of contact with the third-party vendors. Recommends processes and products that meet strategic goals while aligning with the Bank’s long-term technology direction. Requires the ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a rotating basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or as a Senior Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus six (6) years of experience in job offered or as a Senior Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
  • Requires advanced experience with the following programming languages: Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML 5, XML, SQL Scripting, and Powershell Scripting.
  • Requires advanced experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server or similar code repository system.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of Waterfall and Agile.
  • Requires experience with control-m jobs and file-based transfer applications including Sterling and SFTP.
  • Requires development and integration experience with REST APIs, implement microservices design and service-oriented architecture.
  • Requires hands-on experience with the following databases: SQL DB, ETL development and data integration strategies.
  • Requires experience in cloud technologies including experience with AZDO and experience developing HELM charts to develop and automate Azure CI/CD pipelines.
  • Requires knowledge of hosting software applications on containerized platforms including Kubernetes, Rancher, and OpenShift.
  • Requires experience integrating applications with Amazon/NetApp S3 buckets and storage concepts using AWS SDKs and APIs.
  • Requires experience with vulnerability remediation on containers and docker images.
  • Requires experience in Java.
