About The Position

Under limited supervision, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications and services on the Azure platform. Will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions, implement APIs, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Will focus on optimizing application performance and maintaining security best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Other requirements include documenting and implementing security principles, attending regular sprint meetings and the ability to perform in a team environment. Perform other duties as assigned to support mission requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to obtain Windows MCST and Security + within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to obtain Microsoft Azure Developer Associate Certification (AZ-204) within 1 year of hire.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, or Python.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and practices.
  • Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, App Service, SQL Database, DevOps).
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, RESTful APIs and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to various development environments.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform duties with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.
  • Capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform operations outlined, performed, and stated in the section SOPs.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.
  • Possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.
  • Have dependable transportation and a dependable means of communication.
  • Able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Well-mannered customer service attitude.
  • Willing to cross-train in other areas.
