About The Position

Join CACI as part of the MWIII Bridge program supporting Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities across the enterprise and stand‑alone deployments within the Intelligence Community. Based in Hanover, MD, this mission‑driven work spans program management, software development, systems engineering, testing, integration, migration, documentation, and release management. As a Software Engineer on the ClassifyIT team, you will help enhance and extend classification‑marking tools that support both existing mission systems and emerging M365‑based applications. You’ll contribute to full‑lifecycle development and collaborate with a talented team focused on delivering secure, policy‑driven software across multiple fabrics.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or 4 years of additional software engineering experience in lieu of degree, totaling 7 years)
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript/DOM, TypeScript, Node.js/npm
  • Experience with AWS services and dashboards
  • Hands‑on experience using Docker (including converting applications to Docker images)
  • Experience with Git (command line), GitLab CI, and GitLab pipelines
  • Familiarity with Jest and Cypress
  • Experience developing unit and functional tests
  • Experience conducting code reviews
  • Ability to work directly with customers and within established team processes
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to follow coding standards and team policies

  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and capturing customer requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and document software capabilities that support classification marking and access‑control validation.
  • Extend and customize tools for classification string validation, comparison, and enforcement.
  • Work with a team of developers to implement new features for current and M365‑based classification tools.
  • Participate fully in requirements elicitation, technical discussions, and decision‑making throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely in an established team environment and work directly with customers when needed.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of functional tests, unit tests, and code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement of development processes and coding standards.
