About The Position

We are seeking an Intermediate to Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing software development team supporting mission-critical systems. This role involves developing, enhancing, and sustaining complex software applications throughout the software lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong C++ development experience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing software applications in C++.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and best practices.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly secure, mission-focused environment.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing software in Linux-based environments.
• Familiarity with virtualized computing environments and distributed systems.
• Experience supporting both software development and maintenance activities.
• Understanding of system integration, software testing, and performance optimization.
• Experience collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using C++.
• Design, implement, and unit test new software capabilities based on defined system and algorithm requirements.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system discrepancies.
• Support software sustainment and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, subject matter experts, and Senior technical staff to develop and integrate software solutions.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including planning, reviews, testing, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Contribute to software architecture discussions, technical documentation, and code reviews.
• Ensure software quality, reliability, and performance through rigorous testing and validation.
