About The Position

Supporting our Risk business with all reporting requirements. This involves using the Microstrategy BI Suite and Power BI for Market Risk reporting. Additionally, developing in-house applications for special requirements like PnL or VaR & Limit risk calculations, utilizing technologies such as .Net core, Snowflake, AWS Cloud services, and Python.

Requirements

• University Degree preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science
• Very good experience and working knowledge of MicroStrategy & PowerBI
• Good communication techniques and self organising skills
• Working calm under high pressure and taking ownership on managing multiple user requests
• Open to travel at least once a year to Europe strengthen collaboration within the team and cross stakeholders
• Experience with creating complex SQL-Statements, preferably in Snowflake
• Experience in providing support to business colleagues on questions regarding various IT platforms

Nice To Haves

• The ability to challenge team and stakeholders
• Working experience with Python & Tableau would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Provide BI development and support to Risk departments in their daily reporting work by gathering requirements, designing, developing, and testing new requirements and change requests within the Microstrategy & Power BI tool.
• Support the core development team with existing BI & DWH knowledge.
• Work closely within an agile international IT team (Germany, UK, Slovakia).
• Ensure implementation and adherence to coding standards and governance guidelines.
• Be able to explain, and demonstrate experience of applying various problem solving and decision making techniques.
