About The Position

Join a pioneering healthcare technology team as an AWS Connect Developer/Engineer. In this fully remote role, you'll lead the design and development of enterprise-scale solutions on AWS, focusing on Amazon Connect integrations. Requirements

  • 10+ years as a Software Engineer, Architect, or Technical Lead
  • Proven expertise in AWS Connect engineering: queues, agents, routing, schedules, user creation, workflow maintenance, operational availability
  • Strong experience with Java or NodeJS for enterprise application development
  • Hands-on experience architecting and deploying large-scale cloud solutions (AWS preferred)
  • In-depth experience with Amazon Connect: contact flows, Lex Chatbots, CCP, client streams
  • API and third-party platform integration skills, including REST and SOAP
  • Experience with microservices, containerization, and automation (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Proficiency with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB) and CI/CD tools
  • Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Python and NodeJS
  • Familiarity with Cyara Designer
  • Front-end skills: Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Hands-on with AWS Lambda, SQS, EC2, ECS, Terraform

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design, planning, and delivery of back-end services and UI components
  • Architect and implement Amazon Connect features, including configuration of queues, agents, routing, schedules, and workflows
  • Develop and maintain complex RESTful APIs and microservices using Java or NodeJS
  • Integrate third-party and internal APIs, supporting AI-driven voice and chat capabilities
  • Document and present technical decisions to stakeholders, providing architectural guidance to the team
  • Build prototypes and reusable microservice components for scalable solutions
  • Conduct code/design reviews, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards
  • Create, automate, and execute functional/system integration tests
  • Foster a DevOps environment with CI/CD, automated testing, and streamlined deployments
  • Mentor, train, and support developers in solving technical challenges
  • Collaborate in an Agile/SCRUM setting with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly software
