About The Position
Basic Capital is a fintech company disrupting America’s $1T retirement industry by building the modern 401(k) built for today's workforce, and the first ever retirement mortgage. Requirements
- Proficiency in full-stack development, with a strong understanding of web frameworks, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency in any of the following: Kotlin, Swift, Rust, Java, Go, C/C++, Python, Ruby, or TypeScript

- Experience in fintech or early-stage technology companies
- Experience building and deploying agentic systems and embedding AI/ML in user-facing applications
- Passionate about solving big social problems with pragmatic solutions

Responsibilities
- Ship full-stack AI projects end-to-end
- Build components for AI infrastructure, harness fine-tuning, and evaluation
- Develop and improve engineering processes and systems to scale AI products at Basic Capital
