About The Position

The Product Security Anti-Tamper Team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is growing and currently seeking a Experienced / Mid-Career Software Security Engineer, in the field of Anti-Tamper. This position will support the Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) division business organization. Our team is developing industry-leading software, hardware, and systems solutions. This position includes the opportunity to integrate new architectures and key security and control features using Boeing-designed hardware and other COTS hardware/software. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. Potential Signing Bonus for Eligible/Qualified candidate. The Boeing Company is seeking innovative engineers to lead the software architecture and development efforts for key computing assets embedded in the most advanced Boeing defense platforms. Successful candidates for this role will lead the development and maintenance of hardware and software-based product security solutions for the protection of critical military information and technology.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
2+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability.
This position requires that you work on-site out of Oklahoma City, OK and a willingness to travel up to 10% of the time as required.
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance Post-Start for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Must be eligible and willing to obtain additional security clearances.
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
4+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
1+ years of experience with lifecycle Configuration management (CM) tools experience (GitLab)
1+ years of experience utilizing Agile tools (Jira)
Experience in technical leadership with collaboration across multiple teams and locations in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
Experience with cryptography and other security protocols
Working knowledge in the field of cyber security, secure computing and/or anti-tamper

Responsibilities

Supports the development of documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
Support and be accountable to program engineering leads in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.
