Cape is America’s privacy-first mobile carrier, founded on the belief that privacy is a fundamental right. We are building a new mobile network from the ground up, incorporating privacy and security features that no other carrier can offer. Our mission is to provide secure and private mobile communication for consumers, businesses, and government agencies. We are rapidly scaling after closing our Series C in March 2026, aiming to give people back control of their personal information. At Cape, we are architects of a privacy-centric movement. We are relentless builders, innovating at the edge of telecommunications with high trust and high expectations. Our flat structure emphasizes collaboration over hierarchy, allowing team members to work with world-class engineers and visionaries to solve complex problems and deliver mission-critical results. Cape’s platform offers customers end-to-end control of their digital identity, optimizing for resiliency, privacy, and security. We are transforming the mobile phone experience and its privacy implications. Our mobile application is the primary interface for users to build trust and protect their digital lives, with protections built into every level of the communications stack. As an Android Engineer, your mission is to build the definitive application for private mobile communication. You will own the entire feature lifecycle, from architectural design to launch on various app stores. Using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, you will address significant technical challenges in security and cryptography to protect personal information, account data, and communication traffic. You will ship the product that makes our promise of privacy a reality.
