Software engineer/Analytic developer (SWE-3)
About The Position
Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for a senior software engineer/analytic developer in our National Security Sector's (NSS) Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). Our talented team is at the forefront in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. Our LOE program provides our customer's Operations organization with the best possible solutions for their mission needs. We achieve this through rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research. From leading-edge visualizations to analytic development, we're always pushing the boundaries to find new and better data sources and tradecraft to answer intelligence questions. With a focus on collaboration and a fast-paced environment, our prototype development program is the ideal place to grow your skills and make a real impact. Seeking a motivated analytic developer to support the exciting Device Acquisition & Analytics mission. Developer will work closely with mission stakeholders to capture requirements and create innovative analytics and deploy solutions to customer supported tools to automate and enable data and metadata analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field with a minimum of eight (8) plus years of relevant software development experience or equivalent.
- Proficiency with object-oriented language (Python, Java, C++) and experience with Jupyter Notebooks, GHOSTMACHINE, and Query Time Analytics.
- Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of customer corporate tools and data repositories.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with customers to develop analytics based off artifacts, enrich data with various corporate sources, summarize data, and formulate results for downstream analytics and queries.
- Creatively leverage disparate data to fill knowledge gaps in user activities, collection efforts, and technology discovery.
