Ericsson is building a next-generation engineering and operations ecosystem where AI functions as a collaborative tool — helping teams design, build, test, and run large-scale systems. This is an early-career opportunity for professionals who can translate ambiguous problems into practical, AI-driven solutions and integrate them into real-world workflows. Based in the USA, this full-time role sits at the intersection of software engineering, AI operations, and enterprise transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field completed within the last 24 months, or 2-6 years of relevant experience; GPA of 2.7+ (4.0 scale) preferred
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using libraries such as Flask, Pandas, and scikit-learn
  • Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or SDKs from leading AI model providers
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar
  • Experience building and deploying AI agents on enterprise platforms such as Glean or Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • Understanding of responsible AI principles including fairness, transparency, security, and privacy
  • Familiarity with end-to-end AI lifecycle management (MLOps/LLMOps/AgentOps), including CI/CD, monitoring, and governance

Responsibilities

  • Build and support AI-assisted software development, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise products
  • Design and implement AI agents for operational workflows, including incident triage, remediation, knowledge retrieval, and decision support
  • Enhance observability, incident management, root cause analysis, and operational intelligence using AI agents
  • Improve engineering documentation and knowledge management through AI-driven automation
  • Build evaluation frameworks, monitoring capabilities, governance controls, and guardrails for AI-powered services
  • Drive AI adoption across the software delivery lifecycle to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency
  • Collaborate across engineering, operations, and business teams to identify and implement high-impact AI transformation opportunities
