Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Experience with Java (2 years)
  • Experience with REST Web Services (2 years)
  • Experience with SQL (2 years)
  • Experience with Jenkins (2 years)
  • Experience with Maven (2 years)
  • Experience with Distributed System Design (2 years)
  • Experience with Spring Framework (1 year)
  • Kafka
  • Experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS (1 year)
  • Experience with Multi-thread programming (1 year)
  • NoSQL

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, and implement high-performing, reliable solutions for distributed systems with high throughput using a variety of third-party and eBay internal libraries and frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop innovative solutions that meet functional and non-functional standards and expectations.
  • Build highly available, scalable RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
  • Analyze, design, and develop test-automation suites for systems.
  • Produce clear and well-documented design documents and participate in design and code reviews.
  • Build, test, and deploy code continuously.
  • Share engineering support, release, and on-call responsibilities.
