About The Position

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies. Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• OR Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Proficiency with the Linux command-line interface (CLI)
• Strong scripting experience (Bash, Python, Groovy)
• Recent Java software development experience in Linux environments
• Experience developing with the Spring Framework
• Proficiency in modern web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker
• Experience with Apache Velocity
• Experience with OpenSearch
• Experience using the Atlassian plugin SDK, to create and extend the Atlassian suite of applications
• Experience creating documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools
• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Ansible
• Experience with Cloud technologies

Responsibilities

• Creating and extending the Atlassian suite of applications using the Atlassian plugin SDK.
• Creating documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes.
