Requirements

Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
Must reside in the United States (does not include Alaska or Hawaii).
Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
3+ years’ experience in software programming and development.
3+ years experience in Unix Operating system.
1+ years of experience with Rest/Soap Web Services.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high demand, and challenging environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
Experience creating and implementing PL/SQL in Oracle Database Environment.
Experience in Agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Kanban.
Experience with JIRA.
Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration tools.
Experience with source control management (GIT or SVN experience preferred).

Responsibilities

Debugging, patching, and improving the overall health and stability of applications in Vehicle Solutions.
Interpreting end-user business needs to develop and/or modify technical solutions for off-the-shelf and/or custom-developed applications.
Performing unit and integration testing and developing unit test scripts.
Using broad expertise and skills to resolve a wide range of complex issues.
Contributing to the development of company objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
Assisting in the development of strategic planning for the department.
Mentoring and providing technical guidance to less experienced software engineers.
Following and implementing defined standards, processes and procedures for the department.
Researching and seeking out emerging technologies that would be beneficial to the team.
