About The Position

As a Software Engineer 1, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our innovative healthcare technology solutions. You will work within an agile team to build high-quality software that enhances the user experience for medical professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in a web or cloud-based environment.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, GO).
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and/or back-end technologies (e.g., Java).
  • Understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and database concepts.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop, test, and deploy software features and enhancements using established coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API specifications, and test plans.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies and methodologies to improve development processes and product capabilities.
