About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and charismatic Software Development Technical Project Manager to lead custom software development projects from scratch. This role requires extensive experience with React, Node.js, Next.js, and Microsoft.net, along with a very strong Point of Sale background in Restaurants, Convenience Stores, and Large Travel Centers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with rapid/weekly deployments and possess the ability to pivot priorities quickly. As the primary point of contact for clients, you must be an excellent communicator, leader, influencer, and problem-solver, with extensive experience in a client-facing B2B capacity. This role is crucial for coordinating people and processes to ensure timely and successful project delivery, aligning with business initiatives.

Requirements

US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Located in the South East United States
Extensive experience with React, Node.js, Next.js and Microsoft.net
Very Strong Point of Sale experience with Restaurants, Convenience Stores, and Large Travel Centers
Experienced and comfortable with Rapid/Weekly Deployment of multiple projects
Specialized in Creating Custom Software Development Projects FROM SCRATCH
Ability to PIVOT or SWITCH PRIORITIES Quickly and Efficiently
Lead Software Development Teams Creating Custom Software Development Projects FROM SCRATCH
Charismatic, Very Well Spoken, and Speaks Very Clearly for Everyone to Easily Understand
Leader, an Influencer, an Excellent Communicator, and a Problem Solver
Extensive Experience in a Client Facing B2B Capacity
Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Leading a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives.
Dividing up the budget for different project aspects and advocating for additional funding when necessary.
Hiring freelance professionals or selecting project team members from existing departments.
Setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to deadlines.
Communicating on a daily basis with clients and staff.
Making decisions and monitoring the progress of the project to keep it on schedule.
Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
