About The Position

abra professional services is seeking an experienced Software Development Team Lead to lead a development team in a large-scale cloud modernization project, leveraging modern technologies and AI-powered tools throughout the software development lifecycle. This is a full-time position located in central Israel, with a hybrid work model.

The Team Lead will manage and mentor the development team, guide technical planning and implementation, and drive AI-powered software development practices. The role involves cross-functional coordination, responsibility for production issues, and end-to-end ownership of initiatives and project milestones in an Agile environment. The Team Lead will work closely with the Development Manager as a key technical and leadership partner.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of Full Stack development experience with .NET (C#) and React, with a strong backend orientation.
• At least 3 years of experience managing a software development team.
• Experience working in large organizations, including end-to-end processes, cross-team collaboration, and large-scale infrastructure.
• Hands-on, daily experience developing with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, including experience implementing these tools within a development team.
• Experience in financial domains, including payments, cards, or banking.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, including services, APIs, and system integrations.
• Experience with cloud technologies and CI/CD processes.
• Strong initiative, independence, and ability to drive processes within complex organizations.
• Proven ability to take end-to-end ownership, manage priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• Experience modernizing legacy systems and integrating with Mainframe environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a software development team, including task allocation, progress tracking, mentoring, and code reviews.
• Implement AI-driven Software Development Lifecycle (AI SDLC) practices, tools, and processes, and measure their effectiveness.
• Drive technical initiatives and coordinate cross-functional activities with Development, Product, and Business teams.
• Take ownership of production issues, including investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Ensure timely delivery and achievement of project milestones within an Agile environment.
• Lead technical planning and implementation as part of a large-scale system modernization project.
• Work closely with the Development Manager as a key technical and leadership partner.
• Drive initiatives independently, taking end-to-end ownership and ensuring successful execution.
