About The Position

TOMRA of North America, Inc., in Shelton, CT, seeks a Software Development Manager. This role is responsible for leading a team of developers and engineers to deliver high-quality software. The position oversees the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and deployment. The manager will define and own the application architecture, and evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms. Additionally, they will establish and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and best practices. Remote work is permitted.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 8 years exp. in software product development & management
• 3 years exp. managing software development teams
• Strong technical skills in software development, cloud computing & databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
• Azure Cloud Services (Functions, Web Apps, AKS, Resource Management)
• Kubernetes
• C#
• Angular
• Node JS
• React JS
• Python
• API / App Development
• ERP integration experience
