About The Position

Dee Zee is seeking a Summer 2027 Software Development Intern to join its Software Development team. The internship is expected to run approximately June 1 through September 3, 2027, with flexibility to adjust the start and end dates based on the selected candidate’s availability. The intern will assist with the design, testing, and support of business applications in a manufacturing environment. The role provides hands-on experience with modern development tools, databases, and system integrations, as well as exposure to software projects supporting core business operations.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Interest in software development within a manufacturing or business systems environment.

Nice To Haves

• Microsoft SQL Server experience is preferred.
• Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, or Git is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and debugging software applications.

• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and source control activities.
