About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Software Development Intern to join our team! As a Software Development Intern, you will assist in developing and testing web applications while gaining exposure to modern development tools and agile methodologies. U.S. Venture’s Internship Program runs May - August 2027. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI.
Requirements
- Working toward a degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering, or comparable preferred
- Interest in web application development
- Experience in C#, HTML, CSS
- Git or similar version control system
- Understanding of object-oriented programming languages
- Eager to learn new technologies and frameworks
- Agile thinker and capable of working effectively as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Experience with APIs using REST principles preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in the full stack development and testing of web applications
- Collaborate with senior developers on various software development projects
- Participate in agile development processes and team meetings
- Contribute to the improvement of existing software performance optimization and bug fixes
- Implement new features and functionality to improve user experience
