About The Position

This internship focuses on software engineering with an emphasis on innovation. The team utilizes new technologies within evolving software frameworks to enhance real-time modeling and simulation capabilities for network-centric combat systems and to create advanced analytic visualization tools. Interns will gain experience across the full software lifecycle, from requirements and design to deployment and support. The role involves implementing graphical user interfaces and back-end software using C/C++ and Qt on Linux.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Passion for object-oriented software development.
  • Able to obtain Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain Secret level clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with any object-oriented language (C++/Java/Python).
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Experience with Qt.
  • Experience with Git.
  • Experience with a scripting language.
