About The Position

As a Software Development Engineering - Sr. Professional II, you will design, develop, and maintain software applications that support business priorities and client needs. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, improve application performance, and deliver reliable software that helps drive measurable outcomes across Fiserv.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software development building, testing, and supporting enterprise applications
• 2+ years of experience programming in Java, C, C#, C++, or a similar object-oriented language
• 2+ years of experience working with Structured Query Language (SQL) databases in application development environments
• 2+ years of experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or similar cloud platforms
• 2+ years of experience working with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile development environments
• 1+ years of Fiserv systems experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing software solutions within the financial services industry
• Experience supporting secure, scalable, and highly available applications
• Experience working with automated testing tools and frameworks

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement software applications that support business and client requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and scalable solution designs
• Write, debug, and optimize code to improve application performance, quality, and maintainability
• Maintain and enhance existing codebases through defect resolution, feature delivery, and continuous improvement activities
• Conduct code reviews and apply engineering standards, testing practices, and release processes to support software quality
• Partner with team members to resolve technical issues and contribute to delivery across the software development lifecycle
