About The Position

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our engineering team at Fiserv. You’ll collaborate with Technical leaders, product managers, clients at leading financial institutions, and cross‑functional engineering teams to design and deliver client facing Web applications, resilient, high‑volume API, microservices, integrations from UI, in cloud infrastructure. Your work will help shape solution architecture and drive reliable, performant production systems.

Requirements

  • 8+ years recent experience in building Web applications using Typescript, React and Node.js, Tailwind CSS
  • 3+ years of experience with hands-on AI integration for Embedded UI coding and standardization
  • 5+ years hands‑on experience integrating front end with RESTful APIs (JSON over HTTPS) built with Java and Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot).
  • 4+ years hands‑on experience designing, writing, debugging and testing object‑oriented code.
  • Advanced understanding of design patterns, software algorithms and coding techniques that improve testability and maintainability.
  • Experience with building web applications using Nginx and Docker
  • High proficiency with modern CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
  • Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F‑1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H‑1B, H‑2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement solution architecture for Modern, Robust Client facing Web applications.
  • Design, develop, deploy Web application using Typescript, React, Node.js 22, Tailwind CSS, pnpm, Nginx, Docker
  • Effective usage of AI for Software Engineering – Design/Coding/Code review/Debugging
  • Hands-on working experience in Azure, AFD, Apache, Reverse proxy configurations and Containerization
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum delivery model with product managers, clients and engineering teams.
  • Contribute to CI/CD and DevSecOps practices to enable repeatable, secure deployments.
  • Apply design patterns and algorithmic approaches to improve reliability, maintainability, readability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and operate within complex IT environments, including networking, security and performance considerations.
  • Cloud migration and platforms experience (Azure, PCF, OpenShift, AWS).
  • Experience with Splunk and SIEM tools
