Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages (Rust, Java, C/C++), and a solid understanding of the Linux operating system
  • Experience in embedded development in C/C++, or experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution

Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded software for driving sophisticated mechatronic systems.
  • Work with multiple components including motor control, networking, security, sensing, and safety on modern real-time actuation and system hardware.
  • Contribute to the architecture of these complex systems and work effectively with team members to implement solutions.
  • Develop solutions that balance performance and maintainability
  • Collaborate with our hardware teams and vendors to enable new computing hardware and functionality.
