Responsibilities
- Analyze user, operational, and business requirements to develop software solutions that meet functional needs.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications, tools, and system enhancements.
- Create software programs that integrate with robotics, automation equipment, sensors, and other hardware systems.
- Develop user interfaces and software components that improve usability, efficiency, and system performance.
- Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects and performance issues.
- Support maintenance and enhancement of existing software systems and applications.
- Develop and maintain software modules, ensuring effective integration with larger system architectures.
- Create technical documentation, diagrams, flowcharts, and process models to support software development and implementation activities.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Conduct software testing and validation activities to ensure reliability, functionality, and quality standards are met.
- Recommend upgrades, improvements, and modernization opportunities for existing software and systems.
- Assist with software deployment, system integration, and post-implementation support.
- Apply coding standards, software development best practices, and version control methodologies.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives within the software development team.
