About The Position

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites using Java-based frameworks such as JUnit and TestNG to validate backend functionalities of our eCommerce platform. Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Implement and execute test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Perform API testing using tools like REST Assured to validate data integrity and functionality of backend services. Define requirements and propose solutions to streamline the testing process with a strong commitment to ownership as an automation specialist. Engage in in-depth technical dialogues with the engineering team, understanding software workflows and use cases and ensuring the system’s testability. Deliver timely and precise updates on testing status and quality metrics to stakeholders throughout all testing phases and compiling quality outcomes summary upon project completion. Debug and resolve complex technical issues. Advocate superior software testing practices within the team and foster adoption across the organization, promoting software development methodologies that enhance overall software quality.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
3 years of experience with Developing and testing large scale web applications using Object-Oriented programming languages such as Java or Python.
3 years of experience with Performing REST API automation testing to test new features.
3 years of experience with writing test automation frameworks to provide structured, and scalable approach to execute automated test, ensuring faster feedback, improved test coverage and high software quality.
3 years of experience with Cloud technologies, including AWS and Containerization using Docker for building infrastructure for test automation.
3 years of experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, executing automated tests.
3 years of experience with Utilizing Software Development Lifecycle to provide structured processes, clear checkpoints, and quality controls that ensure timely delivery, maintainability, and alignment of the software with business requirements.
3 years of experience with Testing methodologies and Quality Assurance Processes to produce comprehensive test coverage and test reports.
2 years of experience with Developing web applications using HTML, CSS, and Javascript to create testable and maintainable interfaces for accurate validation.
