About The Position

Develop and validate Android, Linux, and QNX software solutions in the automotive embedded domain. This role involves developing solutions, creating test infrastructure, and executing test frameworks and tools to deliver quality products. The position requires collaboration with multiple component teams and stakeholders throughout the entire product lifecycle to ensure the delivery of high-quality software for future automotive infotainment systems. Multiple positions are available.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study.
  • Eight (8) years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Test Engineer, Software Engineer, or related role.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Automotive Embedded Systems and Android Systems including Android framework and system validation methodologies and tools, framework and methodologies, Android Test Automation, Android Test environment with expertise in Android Compatibility Test Suites and Android Platform verification.
  • Two (2) years of experience developing validation solutions in Android framework and Android system for new feature development including maintenance of existing features and bug fixes.
  • Two (2) years of experience with test automation frameworks such as Android TradeFed, ROBOT and AutoBot Test automation framework.
  • Two (2) years of experience contributing to AOSP for test case improvements or test failure resolutions using C++, Java, Kotlin, Python.
  • Two (2) years of experience with test executions and automated test creations for semi-autonomous vehicle driving scenarios targeting the areas of precise location, precise vehicle movement states and conditions, speech assistants, and end-to-end quality execution for Android platform features.
  • Two (2) years of experience creating and maintaining test automation pipelines in a secure controlled HIL/SIL using tools such as github, Jenkins, or Jira.
  • Two (2) years of experience creating Infotainment Calibrations with Custom tools and off-the-shelf tools like Vector VCDM for Personalization, Regional Language, Connectivity, HVAC, ADAS, Radio, Audio, Hands Free, Speech Recognition, Active Safety, Drive Mode for various vehicle programs.
