Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to contribute to the quality efforts for a new build pod developing a cross-platform application. The SDET will support the test strategy, collaborate with a blended global team, and apply modern engineering techniques, SAFe Agile 6.0, DevSecOps, and GenAI techniques to ensure reliable, scalable quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Engineering or SDET roles with hands-on experience across mobile and web platforms.
  • Strong coding skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java, and a track record of building test frameworks and tools.
  • Experience integrating tests into DevSecOps workflows with CI/CD, version control, and artifact management.
  • Demonstrated experience in SAFe Agile or similar scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Google Gemini Code Assist, or experience building/testing with LLMs
  • Eligible for reliability clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing and executing test strategies for form-based, compliance-sensitive applications.
  • Strong understanding of GenAI’s role in SDLC, including prompt technique, AI-augmented testing, and LLM safety considerations & usage.
  • Background in test data management, mocking, contract testing, and system observability.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is nice to have.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a shift-left testing strategy, integrating automation at all levels (unit, API, UI) and across platforms (web, iOS, Android).
  • Apply GenAI tools and prompt technique to accelerate test case design, code scaffolding, mock generation, and root cause analysis.
  • Build test automation frameworks and pipelines using tools such as Playwright, Appium, REST Assured, and integrate them into CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions or ADO).
  • Deliver comprehensive test reporting, dashboards, and insights for leadership visibility and data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Architecture to ensure quality is owned by the whole team.
  • Drive adoption of security, accessibility, and compliance testing best practices.
