About The Position

EvoTech is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to support application development efforts by improving software quality through test automation, CI/CD testing practices, validation, defect tracking, and technical collaboration with development teams. • Basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, databases, application workflows, and backend services.
  • Ability to document defects clearly with steps to reproduce, expected results, actual results, screenshots, logs, or related evidence.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management and defect tracking tools.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle practices, Agile/Scrum delivery, and quality assurance processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to understand application behavior, identify defects, and communicate technical issues clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with developers, DevOps, product owners, business analysts, and QA stakeholders.
