About The Position

The AWS Compliance & Security Assurance team is responsible for scaling AWS's ability to exceed the security and compliance expectations of our regulators, auditors, and customers globally. We own driving highly complex security and compliance campaigns across AWS. We design and build services that stand up to the scrutiny of external regulators and inspection by AWS's most security-sensitive customers. We are a multidisciplinary team comprised of software engineers, security engineers, technical program managers, data engineers, and compliance specialists. Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Build and own internal services that identify and monitor security/compliance-relevant attributes of key infrastructure.
• Scale security and compliance assessments of AWS services.
• Expand our ability to continuously monitor key security functions.
• Contribute to solving complex engineering problems as well as business problems.
• Interact with business partners, and learn and flex skills in business intelligence and data handling/processing.
