Amazon WorkSpaces is a managed desktop computing service in the cloud that allows customers to easily provision cloud-based desktops, enabling end-users to access the documents, applications, and resources they need with the device of their choice, including laptops, iPad, Kindle Fire, Android tablets, and zero clients. Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Indulge your love of diving deep into complex technical problems, driving incremental system optimizations and raising the bar for operational excellence and development practices.
• Help enhance the skills and expertise of those around you.
• Partner with Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q teams, and peer organizations to ensure the WorkSpaces agentic architecture leverages and contributes to shared AWS agentic infrastructure.
• Operational ownership of low-latency, high-availability services used by over one million WorkSpaces users globally.
• Ensure your team's services meet stringent SLAs across multiple production regions and OS variants, with autonomous troubleshooting and proactive issue resolution before customers are impacted.
