About The Position

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong experience in project management, analysis, workflow design, data analysis, and business architecture to create client solutions and execute the implementation of the Alpha front-to-back client servicing platform. The individual will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of State Street Core Data (SSCD) and the Data Quality framework as a member of an Agile scrum team. This role involves analyzing the data quality framework to understand its current state, performing gap analysis, and proposing a future state that meets both business and technical requirements. This is an opportunity to work within a strong development team and help develop challenging new products in the financial space using cutting-edge technology.

Requirements

Extensive Knowledge of Financial Data and platforms
IBOR and ABOR data knowledge
Understanding of Cloud Computing; Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure/AWS Snowflake and SQL
Strong analytical, reconcilement and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally structured, and team-based environment, as well as independently
Experience in Agile Methodology and tools (i.e., JIRA, Rally, RTC) preferred
Bachelor’s degree or above
10+ years of financial industry experience across front office functionality along with middle (IBOR) and back-office systems, services, and data domains
Client engagement and expectation management across project life cycle
Knowledge of financial data and platforms
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills
Ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector (Math background highly desirable)
Able to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment
Experience working with an Agile development methodology is desired
Strong communication skills, self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible
Strong collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Designing Data quality solutions and onboarding new clients onto State Street’s front-to-back platform
Leading workflow analysis, data analysis, and requirements analysis for current and future state models and architecture
Contributing to various stages of the SDLC (solution design, integration and testing, implementation, and operational readiness)
Becoming a product and platform SME on State Street’s Alpha Data Quality platform
Participating in code reviews
Actively participating in the agile software development process by adhering to the scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Triaging production issues by reviewing code and logs as needed and coming up with solutions
Analyzing business requirements and developing solutions to business needs
Collaborating with multiple teams in various locations in an agile environment
