About The Position
Gramian Consultancy is seeking to connect with software development agencies, IT companies, and independent software engineers who own valuable code repositories and are interested in licensing them for AI training. The platform allows users to connect their Git repositories, receive an evaluation of their source-code and Git-history token volume, and an estimated licensing value. Users can receive feedback on quality requirements, improve their repositories, and then select qualifying repositories for AI training. Compensation is earned when the code is used under an approved licensing arrangement, with current valuations of $100 per 1 million tokens of source code and $40 per 1 million tokens of Git history for standard non-exclusive licensing.
Requirements
- Own or control the licensing rights to original code repositories.
- Be authorized to license them for AI training.
- Own the repository or have the legal authority to license its contents.
- Repository should contain meaningful original software-development work.
- Have the authority to connect and submit the repository for analysis.
- Code must not contain third-party material that you are not permitted to sublicense.
- Repositories must meet the platform's quality and technical requirements before licensing.
- Be able to verify repository ownership and relevant licensing rights if requested.
Responsibilities
- Connect existing Git repositories to the platform.
- Choose which repositories to evaluate for potential licensing.
- Review repository-level breakdown of source-code and Git-history token volume.
- Review estimated licensing value for each repository.
- Receive quality feedback if the codebase does not meet licensing requirements.
- Improve repositories based on recommendations and resubmit for evaluation.
- Select qualifying repositories to make available for AI training.
- Earn compensation when code is used under an approved licensing arrangement.
