About The Position
The student employee will be a contributor in providing software solutions, including design, code and testing, for a variety of academic and non-academic application systems. The student employee will play an active role in the design, development and support of various software applications used by business units at Bob Jones University and BJU Press. They will also write program specifications as needed from business requirements and convert designs and specifications into computer code.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of database structures and relationships
- Working knowledge of object-oriented software technology
- Understanding of the University's goals and objectives
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Logical and organized documentation skills
- Problem solving and adaptability skills
- Ability to work well with others
Responsibilities
- Plays an active role in the design, development and support of various software applications used by business units at Bob Jones University and BJU Press.
- Writes program specifications as needed from business requirements as well as converts designs and specifications into computer code.
