About The Position

The Software Developer position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, working with other members of the Football Systems department to create and maintain software applications for coaches, scouts, and other staff members within the front office. This role also involves collaborating with other developers to support and document existing applications and pipelines. Non-essential functions include accepting other responsibilities and duties required by the supervisor, maintaining professionalism, being accurate and efficient with the ability to meet deadlines, being detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, gathering and analyzing information skillfully, developing solutions quickly and effectively, adjusting work schedules to meet departmental demands, and keeping appropriate information confidential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the game of football, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm for developing software skills.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in software development
  • JavaScript
  • React
  • Consuming Rest APIs
  • Experience with code reviews and/or pull request workflows
  • Must be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must be accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and develop solutions quickly and effectively.
