About The Position

This is a contract-to-hire role for a Software Developer, initially for 4 months with the possibility of becoming a permanent position. The role requires the candidate to be local to Phoenix, Arizona. The first 4 months will be onsite, transitioning to a remote work arrangement thereafter. The developer will be responsible for designing and developing web applications, supporting production systems, analyzing and resolving production problems and defects, and preparing technical documentation.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of SQL server experience

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.
• Supports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems in a timely manner; resolves end-user service requests as assigned.
• Analyzes, debugs, and resolves defects in applications; analyzes and resolves development issues in a timely manner; proactively solves complex problems.
• Fixes and develops changes to applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.
• Completes unit and system test application changes to ensure quality of work.
• Prepares technical documentation on application specifications and creates deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle, such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation.
• Engages with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specifications.
