CA$98,400 - CA$147,600

About The Position

This role is for an L2 Software Developer to join the CARE (Compliance, Audits, and Records Experience) team. The team works on systems that ensure clinical data is secure, compliant, useful, and easy to understand. This includes supporting audits and regulatory requirements, improving how practitioners find and use clinical data, and surfacing insights and visualizations for better care. The goal is to reduce the scavenger hunt for information so clinics can focus on patient care. The role involves building thoughtful front-end experiences, working closely with customers and teammates, and clarifying complex workflows. A significant part of the role will be building highly configurable and intuitive interfaces using technologies like React and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will care deeply about usability, accessibility, and crafting experiences that meet unique day-to-day work needs.

  • Experience taking on ambiguously defined projects and crafting experiments and iterations to bring clarity to the solution and implementation with minimal guidance or course correction.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with interest in growing deeper expertise in areas like accessibility, usability, AI-enabled experiences, or front-end architecture.
  • Experience working collaboratively across Product, Design, and Engineering teams, with a customer-focused approach to building software in regulated or detail-oriented environments.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus, but applicants with experience in other OOP languages like Java, C#, Python, and others are welcome, as great developers can learn any tech stack.
