About The Position

SimVentions is looking for a skilled C++ Software Developer to provide support to aircraft software maintenance efforts. This role is located at NAVAIR-PAX River in St. Mary's County, MD and requires on-site presence 5 days/week. An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements

Ability to write, review, and test C++ code
Experience working with Linux Operating Systems including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Experience with Oracle databases
Experience with Visual Studio
An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required
US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Familiarity with Ada programming language
Experience with DOORS and/or Cameo
Experience using and troubleshooting modeling and simulation (M&S) systems/programs
Experience with hardware integration and SW/HW interfaces
Knowledge of military avionics

Responsibilities

Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements
