Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • 2 years demonstrated experience in application/web developer, microservices architecture, and using cloud-based services.
  • 2 years demonstrated experience in designing and building applications.
  • 2 years demonstrated experience working with Java 8.
  • 2 years demonstrated experience in developing apps using Spring Framework.
  • 2 years demonstrated experience with front-end frameworks including Angular or React, and Material.
  • 2 years demonstrated experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • 2 years demonstrated experience with working in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • 2 years demonstrated experience with programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools such as Visual Studio, VSCode, and other industry standard integrated development environments.
  • 2 years demonstrated experience with Agile Methodology and Scaled Agile Framework for enterprise (SAFe).
  • 2 years demonstrated experience with reporting tools including Snowflake, Azure Cloud ecosystem, Tableau, or IBM Cognos 11.
  • 2 years demonstrated experience with Shell Scripting or Python.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Units to set specifications for new applications.
  • Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines.
  • Develop automated test scripts to perform integration testing.
  • Perform unit and integration testing before launch.
  • Conduct functional and nonfunctional testing.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features.
  • Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
