Jr Level Software Developer
About The Position
ELEVI is seeking a software developer to support an application that provides data visualization through Microsoft Power BI dashboards. The successful candidate will fulfill new data ingest requests, provide data extraction support, assist with vulnerability remediation, and participate in troubleshooting customer issues. The individual will work with a team of dynamic and innovative engineers to develop new capabilities supporting the front end processing of data for a mission critical tool. The individual will also support the modernization of the front end processing services, modernization of malware analysis, and develop techniques for metadata storage for knowledge management to support the defense of national security systems. The engineer will be a part of a team who explores new technologies and prototypes new mission tools and analytics. The team also develops new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission related problems.
Requirements
- Current or active security clearance with a poly
- Seven (7) + years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, or 4 more years experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, or 4 years of additional Software Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server)
- Experience with containers (i.e. Docker, Podman)
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Basic Linux command line and administration experience
- Comfortable on a Windows environment
- Customer focused
