About The Position

HIWIN Corporation is seeking a Software Developer to join their team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent Computer Science or Software Engineering graduates looking to contribute to the company's digital transformation initiatives. The role involves developing applications, integrating business systems, automating processes, and collaborating with various teams to address business challenges. The developer will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, diverse, and safety-focused environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
0-2 years of software development experience, including internships, co-ops, academic projects, or professional experience
Knowledge of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and database concepts
Familiarity with Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages
Understanding of APIs, web services, and software testing concepts
Must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm in Huntley, IL
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications, APIs, and system integrations
Build solutions that automate business processes and improve data flow between systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative software solutions
Participate in ERP, integration, and digital transformation projects
Troubleshoot applications, resolve defects, and support continuous improvement efforts
Contribute to software architecture, testing, documentation, and development best practices
