Software Developer
About The Position
We are seeking a Software Developer with an active Top Secret (TS)/SCI Clearance with Polygraph. The role requires extensive backend development experience with JavaScript, specifically within the ServiceNow platform, and proficiency with ServiceNow Glide. A strong understanding of best practices in workflow and process management for both commercial and federal sectors is essential. The developer will be responsible for estimating work effort, communicating effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrating strong public speaking skills. Experience with scrum and agile frameworks, including task management, stand-ups, sprint reviews, requirement gathering, and documentation, is crucial. The position requires the developer to remain on client site during Program core hours of 0900-1500.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret (TS)/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in an IT related field and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or a master’s with 4 years of experience; an Associates with 8 years of experience.
- Extensive backend development experience with JavaScript’s programming language and how it applies to ServiceNow.
- Experience with ServiceNow Glide.
- ServiceNow developer certification, preferably Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Understanding of and support with best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as it relates to workflow and process management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners.
- Ability to estimate work effort requirements efficiently and appropriately.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong public speaking skills and professional demeanor required.
- Experience in scrum and agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Configuration Management experience and certifications.
- Graphics design or UX/UI design experience.
- Experience in HTML/CSS and Jelly scripting.
- Previous work within the Intelligence Community.
