The Fraud & Financial Crimes team is looking for a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and support scalable automated test frameworks, tools, and test suites to ensure quality within expected timelines during the development cycle. Requirements

  • 8 or more years of experience developing web applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
  • Experience with full-stack development, from presentation layer to logic and server layer
  • Experience working in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery environment
  • Experience with Java with RESTful APIs, and either React or Angular.
  • An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications

  • Familiarity with Github Enterprise and Gerrit.

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of new feature development for new customers while supporting the needs of our existing customers.
  • Mentor and coach highly motivated junior developers who share your passions for full-stack development and for delivering excellent software.
  • Design and develop high quality, testable, and scalable software solutions within established timelines while adhering to R&D best practices and processes.
  • Assist with scoping, planning, and tracking work on complex software development projects in a continuous delivery environment.
  • Lead discussion of technical and design issues with other developers, managers, product owners, and user interface and visual designers to ensure implementations satisfy functional requirements and are consistent with established R&D standards.
  • Assume leadership in technical projects while mentoring and coaching junior developers.
  • Be encouraged to participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS.
  • Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.
