Software Developer
About The Position
Design, build, or maintain software systems using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the installation of new software systems or modification of existing ones. Develop detailed work breakdown structures for analysis, design, development, and deployment activities for assigned projects. Build and update content for desktop and mobile e-commerce sites. Evaluate code for validity, structure, industry standards, and compatibility across browsers, devices, and operating systems. Consult with customers or other departments on project status and technical issues. Write supporting code for software systems and perform unit testing according to schedules. Develop or direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Modify existing software systems to correct errors, implement new features, or upgrade and apply patches for performance improvement. Provide full lifecycle support for client interaction and requirements analysis through design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and integration. Cooperate with other teams for efficient work progress and provide ongoing application support and troubleshooting. Provide regular status updates through Scrum calls and submit weekly status reports to management. Oversee team members' work, analyze coding standards, and review code. Integrate new web pages, email templates, and other marketing web and mobile content using responsive design. Work closely with the team to achieve sprint goals and represent 15-day sprint demos to the client.
Requirements
- Proficiency in authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.
- Ability to analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan software system installations or modifications.
- Skill in developing detailed work breakdown structures.
- Experience in building and updating content for desktop and mobile E‑commerce sites.
- Ability to evaluate code for validity, structure, industry standards, and compatibility.
- Experience consulting with customers or other departments on project status and technical issues.
- Proficiency in writing supporting code for software systems.
- Experience performing unit testing.
- Ability to develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation.
