About The Position

Armison Tech is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a mission-critical and fast-paced team. The role involves processing large amounts of images, extracting and enriching metadata, and displaying resulting data in meaningful ways for stakeholders. The developer will utilize a mix of COTS and custom-made tools and technologies, and build integrations within various internal and external partner applications. This position is located in McLean, VA, within an on-site client environment and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Requirements

Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance
Demonstrated experience developing modern web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue)
Demonstrated experience with HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript, and TypeScript
Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass
Designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices
A working knowledge of SQL databases including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
Experience with ORMs (such as Prisma, Sequelize, or similar)
Experience with containerization technologies (such as Docker or Podman)
Experience with AWS cloud services as well as cloud-native dev patterns
Demonstrated experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins
Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, such as Prometheus/Alertmanager and/or CloudWatch
