About The Position

We are seeking a talented C# Software Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will participate in the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions supporting 3D modeling, geometric processing, visualization, and engineering design workflows. Working in a collaborative and innovative environment, you will contribute to the development of desktop, cloud-connected, and integrated software applications used by architecture, engineering, and construction professionals worldwide. As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of advanced software solutions for construction, engineering, and design professionals. Within GRAITEC's R&D organization, you will participate in the creation of high-performance applications, engineering tools, and CAD/BIM integrations supporting the digital transformation of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from technical analysis and design to implementation, testing, optimization, maintenance, and continuous improvement of products. The position is heavily focused on developing robust and scalable solutions using C#, .NET, and modern software engineering practices, while working with complex engineering data, 3D models, geometric algorithms, and design automation processes. In a collaborative Agile environment, you will work closely with product managers, quality engineers (QA), UX designers, structural engineers, and other software developers to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-centric solutions. You will contribute to applications that enable engineers and designers to solve real-world challenges through technology. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging technical problems related to 3D geometry, CAD/BIM integrations, design automation, performance optimization, and engineering software development. Requirements

Over 5 years of professional experience in software development with C# and .NET.
Experience in developing commercial software applications with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Experience in 3D graphics programming, geometric processing, computational geometry, or visualization technologies.
Experience in developing integrations, plug-ins, extensions, or add-ins for platforms such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Bentley Systems, SolidWorks, or similar applications.
Excellent command of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture principles.
Experience using APIs, SDKs, and integrating third-party software solutions.
Knowledge of cloud services, REST APIs, and modern software development practices.
Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other source control and collaboration tools.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Demonstrated ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex technical problems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within international teams.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Excellent command of C# and the .NET ecosystem.
Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Experience with desktop application development technologies such as WPF, MVVM, or equivalents.
Good understanding of concepts related to 3D geometry, coordinate systems, spatial transformations, and geometric models.
Experience in developing CAD, BIM, engineering, or visualization software is a significant asset.
Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Platform Services (Forge) APIs, or similar tools is an asset.
Experience with unit testing, software quality practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C# and .NET technologies.
Develop and enhance desktop applications, engineering tools, and software components essential to the company's operations.
Design and implement features interacting with 3D models, geometric data, CAD/BIM platforms, and engineering workflows.
Develop integrations, plug-ins, and extensions for design and engineering software platforms.
Contribute to application architecture, technical design, and software modernization initiatives.
Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions by leveraging best software development practices and design patterns.
Optimize application performance, memory consumption, responsiveness, and scalability.
Ensure software quality through unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and a continuous improvement approach.
Collaborate closely with Product, Quality Assurance (QA), UX, and Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues in development and production environments.
Contribute to the evolution of development standards, tools, CI/CD processes, and engineering best practices.
Evaluate and adopt new technologies, including AI-assisted development tools and modern cloud services where relevant.
