We are actively seeking a strong junior to mid-level software developer with experience in software design, development, testing, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in programming principles and hands-on experience working with hardware control systems and device interfaces.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Rust (if no C or C++ experience)
- Experience developing applications that communicate with hardware devices, controllers, sensors, or industrial equipment
- Ability to diagnose and resolve software and hardware integration issues
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with others to meet established goals and program schedules
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position.
- US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of hardware interfaces and robotics
- Experience with computer vision
- Experience developing code for Navy or DoD systems
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications that interface with hardware systems
- Design, implement, and test device communication and control functionality
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and integration issues
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to deliver reliable solutions
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
