About The Position

As a Software Developer (New Grad), you’ll contribute to real services used globally while learning from experienced developers in a supportive, collaborative environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent training/experience)
  • Strong foundation in CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, networking, and basic distributed systems concepts
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Go
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), testing basics, and RESTful or event‑driven service patterns
  • Clear communication, collaborative mindset, and willingness to seek guidance and learn quickly

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, research, or significant project experience in backend development or cloud services
  • Exposure to AWS or similar cloud platforms (e.g., Lambda, Fargate, SQS, DynamoDB, Aurora) is a plus
  • Coursework or experience with microservices, streaming/real‑time processing, or containerization (Docker)
  • Experience with CI/CD, basic observability (metrics/logging), and security best practices for services
  • Interest in cost‑aware design, performance, and reliability engineering

Responsibilities

  • Implement features and fixes in backend services under mentorship, writing secure, reliable, and maintainable code with unit tests and clear documentation
  • Learn to build and optimize microservices and event‑driven components that support Autodesk’s Consumption platform
  • Participate in code reviews (both giving and receiving feedback) to learn best practices and maintain high code quality
  • Follow Agile practices: estimate tasks, participate in stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives with guidance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine code issues; escalate and seek guidance on unfamiliar problems
  • Assist with production deployments, basic operational tasks, and monitoring as part of end‑to‑end service ownership with oversight
  • Use Agentic AI‑assisted programming tools responsibly to increase productivity and code quality, guided by team standards
  • Contribute to team knowledge via documentation, tests, and incremental improvements to developer experience
