Requirements

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
2 to 10 years of experience building software systems.
A solid grasp of software engineering principles and best practices.
Strong, hands-on knowledge of Python or C++ (experience with both is an asset).
Genuine enthusiasm for fintech and an interest in how world events shape the systems and data we work with.
Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on data quality and correctness.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, Kafka, MongoDB, ELK, Docker, TCP, HTTP, Regex.
Experience with relational databases is an asset.

Responsibilities

Build scalable, high-performance software grounded in solid engineering practices.
Lead and contribute to discussions on implementation, testing, and software architecture.
Partner with operations and platform teams to keep production systems running in top condition.
Research emerging technologies and apply them to strengthen our core systems.
Drive projects end to end and take the lead on new initiatives.
Work closely with fellow developers to untangle difficult design and coding problems.
Handle complex real-time data feeds while safeguarding their accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Translate technical challenges, trade-offs, and options into clear terms for internal stakeholders, helping them make well-informed decisions.
