About The Position

This role supports the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract and currently has an opening for a Software Developer (Mid-Level). The Software Developer supports the design, development, integration, and maintenance of cloud-based software applications supporting the Air Force Cloud One ICAM solution. This role focuses on both back-end and front-end development, contributing to secure, scalable identity and access management capabilities deployed in cloud environments. The developer will work with modern frameworks and cloud technologies to enhance existing ICAM applications, develop new features, and ensure operational reliability across SIPR-enabled environments as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’s Degree and 4+ years or more of experience; additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Hands-on experience developing applications using: C# .NET Angular / JavaScript
  • Experience supporting both front-end and back-end development.
  • Experience developing or maintaining cloud-based software applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
  • Experience integrating applications within secure enterprise environments.
  • DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification (required).

Nice To Haves

  • One or more cloud certifications (preferred).
  • Experience supporting Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) solutions.
  • Experience in Air Force, DoD, or Cloud One environments.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and secure software development practices.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain cloud-based software applications supporting the Air Force Cloud One ICAM solution.
  • Design, create, analyze, and modify back-end and front-end source code using approved technologies and frameworks.
  • Support implementation, integration, and sustainment of cloud-hosted applications.
  • Customize software solutions to meet mission and client requirements, optimizing performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across application stacks and cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and security teams to ensure solutions align with DevSecOps and security best practices.
  • Support application deployments and operational activities in classified (SIPR) environments, as required.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement activities.
